ISO 14001:2026 is the revised Environmental Management System standard. When a standard changes, the internal audit is where the change becomes real: the auditor is the first person in the organisation who has to look at the EMS through the new requirements and say whether it still holds up.
This two-day intensive programme prepares professionals to plan, conduct, report and follow up internal audits of an Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001:2026 and the ISO 19011 auditing guidelines. It works through clauses 4 to 10, environmental aspects and impacts, life cycle perspective and audit methodology, with practical exercises, case studies and simulated audit scenarios throughout.
