CQI and IRCA Certified ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor Training Course

Organizations are required to conduct internal audits, or one is required to audit an organization and a formal training course would be essential. Auditing requires an in-depth understanding of the audit process, how to develop checklists, conduct audits and evaluate against policy and procedures, evaluate findings, write non-conformity statements, create audit reports, improve the environmental management system, implement risk-based approach and process approach and use of the latest auditing methods.

Recommend prior knowledge

The participants are expected to have acquired the following prior knowledge before attending the course: 

a) Management systems

• The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
• The core elements of a management system and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review, and continual improvement.

b) Environmental management
The intended outcomes of an environmental management system:

• Enhancement of environmental performance
• Fulfilment of compliance obligations
• Achievement of environmental objectives.

c) ISO 14001

• Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 14001 and the commonly used environmental management terms and definitions, as given in ISO 14001, may be gained by completing a CQI and IRCA Certified ISO 14001:2015 Foundation (EMS) training course or the equivalent.
• The course has been designed in a structured manner in which the above topics will not be covered in detail. Hence the delegates shall come prepared with the above knowledge. Participants not having prior knowledge are advised to gain the same by completing FD113 ISO 14001:2015 Foundation (EMS) or equivalent.
