‘Waste can be wealth’: anti-thetical, yet possible! In the first place, the talk will attempt to help participants understand the enormous amount and variety of waste that India generates. It will then advance the discussion to provide estimates of the volume of energy that can be generated from this waste, as well as the forms of energy that can be generated. Against this backdrop, it will finally open up into a discussion on the technological and policy options that can be worked on.

He has worked in many areas stretching from grass-roots activism in human and labor rights, to science-technology policy analysis, to editing research monographs.
